Today's the day I took 26 paintings to Tairāwhiti Museum - the result of 2 years' work. It's wonderful to have reached this point. The exhibition opens on Friday and runs for 9 weeks.

One of the judges, Stephie Clark, talked about my award-winning painting at the Purely Pastel national exhibition in Arrowtown.

Merit Award for my pilot boat painting at the @pastelartistsnz PANZ national exhibition, Purely Pastel. My prize is from @thefrenchartshopauckland - a large set of Rembrandt pastels. Thank you to the generosity of the French Art Shop! ⁣
